Blue Haus, which remains undefeated, showed control right from the start thanks to its forwards Peredo and Guiab who dominated the floor with 8 and 9 points, scoring from around the perimeter and extending to the three-point line with a triple each. IT&E struggled to get its rhythm going as Lerio and Tenorio tried to prevent their team from falling way behind.

With Blue Haus leading 26-13, Esdrelon added extra firepower from beyond the arc while Berline, Buenabajo and T. Diaz chipped in a few more. IT&E tried to pick up the pace but continued to trail by double digits.

It was not until the second half when IT&E finally broke through the cold spell. Joyner suddenly heated up from beneath the rim, scoring back-to-back buckets while drawing a handful of fouls. Big man Masga also joined the run alongside Lerio but Blue Haus matched their output. T. Diaz found his stroke to drop eight points with the rest of the team staying reliable to maintain a 22-point lead.

In the final quarter, IT&E led by Tenorio and Joyner attempted a come back, and they did cut down the deficit, but Blue Haus’s defense was more than enough to secure a comfortable win, 89-74.

In the second game of the night, Vision RNV outscored PIC 88-80.

PIC was looking for its first win, and it showed as its players put up a great fight until the very end. PIC continued to fight back in the second canto with Castro and Abuy reducing RNV’s lead to just two points.

But after the halftime break, RNV started to gain traction. De Vero scored 25 points with Peredo and Tagle also contributing to the cause. PIC’s Norita tried to help his team pull an upset and gain their first win of the season, but unfortunately, they could not match Vision RNV during crunch time. Vision RNV won, 88-80.
