Can my retired/actively employed spouse add me to their health insurance if I was furloughed or terminated?

Yes, this would be considered a “qualifying event.”  An Enrollment/Change form would need to be completed and submitted to Pacifica Insurance with a copy of the termination or furlough letter and documents required on the form. The Enrollment/Change form needs to be submitted within 30 days of being terminated. If you were enrolled as a dependent and the subscriber has been terminated, you may enroll yourself and your eligible dependents who were previously enrolled and lost coverage if you as a dependent are eligible to be enrolled in the Government health plan as either an Active Employee or Retiree. You must submit an enrollment form within 30 days of losing coverage.
