THE CNMI Army Recruiting Center is back in operation, but it is taking precautions by ensuring that its office is sanitized every day — all surfaces are wiped after each visit — in an effort to protect the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Career readiness, education, and leadership are pivotal points to serving in the United States Army, it said.

The Army provides $4,000 in tuition assistance per year, and includes scholarships, loan repayment, and support through the GI Bill.

Benefits include up to $40,000 in bonuses, competitive pay, allowances, retirement savings, and investment.

In addition, the Army said it offers comprehensive healthcare, 30 days paid vacation, and the opportunity to retire after two decades of service.

There are over 150 career opportunities, nearly all of which have jobs relating to civilian credentials.

Opportunities also include experiences in Airborne, Ranger, or Special Forces, potential stationing in parts of Europe, Asia, and the U.S. mainland, and discounted travel services.

The center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
