CDA resumes operations

THE Commonwealth Development Authority on Friday announced that it is again providing services and support for its clients and the general public.

CDA said it resumes operations with “feasible strategies to continue the responsible reboot of productivity and minimizing the risk of exposure to Covid-19.”

“During these unprecedented times,” CDA stated, “we will continue to rely on data-driven information, the public health, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines and recommendations, to curb the spread of the highly contagious and deadly Covid-19, while supporting a return to a more resilient and robust CNMI economy with a vibrant and prosperous community.”

The Rota CDA office will be open by appointment only from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on weekdays.

Borrowers or lessees may deposit direct deposit payments through the Bank of Guam or the CDA checking account. A CDA preprinted deposit slip is available from Bank of Guam tellers.

The Saipan CDA loan department in Oleai will be open for curbside assistance with or without an appointment from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.

To make direct deposit payments at Bank of Guam, borrowers can contact the CDA loan department to obtain CDA’s BOG checking account number.

For direct deposit payments, borrowers are encouraged to include their name and loan number on the bank deposit slip to ensure that the payment is credited to their loan.

Borrowers may email the CDA loan department a copy of the deposit slip, or place a scanned copy or snapshot in the CDA drop box located directly outside of the office on the first floor of the CDA building in Oleai, across from Oleai Beach Bar & Grill.

For credit/debit card payments, borrowers are encouraged to call or email the CDA loan department.

Check payments should either be mailed to CDA, Attention: Loan Department, P.O. Box 502149, Saipan, MP 96950, or deposited into the CDA loan department drop box location. Cash payments are highly discouraged.
