HOME quarantine is still not an option for a person under investigation, Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. Chief Executive Officer Esther Muna said.

Although the government has eased restrictions pertaining to the Covid-19 directives, Muna said persons under investigation will still be brought to the designated quarantine or isolation sites: the Pacific Islands Club or the Kanoa Resort.

Muna said they continue to ramp up contract tracing, adding that all newly arrived travelers will be subjected to quarantine even if they have been tested for the last 72 hours.

She said they have to follow the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“I know it is difficult [to undergo the quarantine process], but it is about the safety of the community,” she said.
