HOW about throwing out a life-line (in other words, some hope) to our furloughed PSS personnel with this simple math proposal and a proposed start date?

[Note:  This will be a month into a new fiscal year… perhaps our government will be better positioned to transfer PSS’ allotments (?)

Or, retroactively apply new relief funds / lift the furloughs in accordance with status quo immediately upon receipt of funds?  Bear in mind this proposal is only loosely based on figures as reported in the media and doesn’t account for supplemental federal funds already available within the system.  Also, respective schools and classroom teachers may need to restructure usual operations and classroom set-ups and other protocols to a certain extent in order to account for social distancing recommendations.

Am I missing something?

Or better yet, is there a better plan in place already?
