There were10 deadlocks and great defense and efficient scoring on the part of both team.

MHS Varsity’s John Fabros made an impact in the first quarter by scoring 6 points while S. Xu and Tang from Agape both combined for nine points to give ACS a 13-11 lead in the first half.

At the start of the second half, Bravo quickly drilled a triple to give MHS Varsity a one-point lead. But against ACS’ beefy centers, MHS Varsity was no match. Agape controlled the boards and prevented MHS Varsity from scoring more than 5 points in the second half.

With time running out, MHS Varsity was down by 3 points but had an opportunity to send the game to overtime. However, MHS V could not connect a three-point shot, giving ACS a 19-16 victory.
