Stay fit with cardio kickboxing and aerodance

CERTIFIED cardio kickboxing and aerodance instructor Joel Vallega says joining his classes can help you stay strong and healthy.

The classes were suspended in April amid the Covid-19 pandemic, but they finally resumed on July 13.

The classes are held at the Garapan Round House and are open to the public, but can accommodate up to 25 persons only.

Vallega said the round house is the ideal venue because it is a very spacious, open-air facility so participants can comply with the social distancing rules.

“Joining our classes will keep your body more active and strong,” Vallega said. “It can also help your mental health and well-being because it can relieve stress. It is a good way to stay fit while having fun.”

The cardio kickboxing and aerodance classes are held  Monday to Thursday, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. On Fridays, Fitbeat Saipan organizer Irene Holl conducts a yoga class at the same venue  from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Vallega is a part of Saipan Music & Dance Studio, which is helping Fitbeat Saipan implement its healthy lifestyle programs.
