DAS Krishnan topped the May Ace of the Month Tournament of the Saipan Golfers Association at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.

Krishnan performed steadily throughout the day. It was his ability to maintain his stroke that kept him ahead of the pack. He was off to a good start in the front nine, ending the first hole with a par, but started to slip away, committing two bogeys. Fortunately, Krishnan got back on his feet and finished the remaining holes with a handful of pars to collect a gross score of 38 and remain at the top of the heap.

He continued to shine, completing the back nine with a gross of 39 for a total of 77. Aided by a handicap of 11, Krishnan ended the tournament with a net score  of 66, which made him the May Ace of the Month.

Second place was claimed by Steve Balakrishna who finished the day with a net score of 68. He had to fight hard as he started with two bogeys after three holes, but later recovered to finish the front nine with a gross score of 40. Balakrishna then refined his swing during the back nine, closing with a score of 39, and gathering a total gross score of 79. With a handicap of 11, Balakrishna's netted 68, which put him in second place.

Completing the top three list was Nick Sablan. Like Balakrishna, Sablan had a rough start, but greatly improved his performance toward the last six holes, adding one birdie to his card for the lowest gross score in the front nine at 37. Although he notched a gross score of 39 in the back nine for a total gross of 76, his handicap of 5 gave him a net score of 71, good enough for third place.

Individual awardees were also acknowledged by the Saipan Golfers Association.

The awards for Closest to the Pin were given to Ed Manibusan for hole No. 4, and Nick Sablan for hole Nos. 6 and 15. The Longest Drive title was also taken by Nick Sablan at hole No. 2,  and by Tony Deleon Guerrero at hole No. 18.
