(Press Release) — The Saipan Fitbeat Lions Club was chartered on Nov 19, 2020, headed by its charter president, Vince Cabrera.
The club’s advocacy or pet project is about health and wellness, and that is why club members are at the Garapan Central Park Roundhouse from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. for Core Plus, which is a core strengthening class.
At the same venue, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., club members participate in a Zumba/Aero dance class from Monday to Saturday.
These sessions are free to the public and part of the Fitbeat project of first lady Diann Torres and second lady Wella Palacios.
Sponsored by the Saipan Marianas Lions Club, the Saipan Fitbeat Lions Club, which has 28 charter members, is the eighth Lions Club of Region 2, District 204. Their guiding lions are Martha Badelles and Ladyvir Canape who is also the club organizer.
