(NMI Republican Party) — Ralph DLG Torres reaffirmed his support on Tuesday for Grace “Pitu” Sablan-Vaiagae as the right House candidate for Precinct 3 and for the CNMI.
The governor continues to ask the Precinct 3 community to exercise their right to vote in the special election on Oct. 16, 2021.
“Seeing the numbers coming out to have their voices heard in the early voting period has been wonderful over the first days of early voting,” Torres said. “I encourage the community to head out and cast your votes early if you’re able to.”
“Precinct 3 is so important to our Commonwealth. It is the main center of our tourism economy, the source of so many jobs for our people, and is one of the largest residential population areas,” he added.
“Because of this, I ask for the community’s support of Grace ‘Pitu’ Sablan Vaiagae for this special election — #2 on the ballot!
“Grace is an exceptional candidate to represent Precinct 3 and the right candidate for the CNMI and our progress as a Commonwealth.
“Grace is highly educated, has spent her life in service to this community and those in need, and has a tremendous heart. We need the kind of compassion and humility that Grace brings with her every day.
“I’ve spoken with her about her desire to serve and to bring her experience to advance the opportunities of women in our Commonwealth, finding the support needed by those suffering from substance abuse, and caring for our islands’ first responders.
“She has what it takes to lead and to serve. She is the right candidate for the CNMI, and I humbly ask for your support,” Torres said.
The early voting site is located at the Gov. Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe. Votes can be cast from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Friday, Oct. 15, 2021. Special Election Day is Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
