Michelle Taisacan, standing, fifth right, a Marianas High School AP Calculus and AP Statistics teacher, was honored by the Public School System Monday. Taisacan is the CNMI’s finalist to the U.S. Presidential Awards of Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, and  will compete against the nation’s other outstanding STEM — Science and Technology, Engineering and Mathematics — educators this summer.
