THE Northern Mariana Islands Basketball Federation will hold a general membership meeting this Saturday, Aug. 17, at 11 a.m. in the conference room of the Ada gym.
The meeting will discuss NMIBF activities, financial reports, future strategic plans, updates, membership fee, nominations and elections.
NMIBF President, James Lee is not seeking reelection. “And though it will be two years from now, I would like to prepare us for the transition so that we can all work together especially for some of those interested in taking the lead,” Lee said.
“The NMIBF is for the island and whatever we do pretty much dictate the future of our sport,” he added.
