THE MP United Football Club continues to climb the ladder in Division A of the Men's M-League Spring 2021 after notching its third win of the season Sunday at the NMI Soccer Training Center by dominating the Kanoa Football Club, 4-0.

At first, Kanoa held its ground and neither team scored for the first 20 minutes.

However, as soon as MPU was warmed up, the attacks started to break through.

MPU’s Joshua Abragan scored at the 29th minute mark to give his team the lead.

Kanoa tried to adjust but MPU struck again at the 37th minute mark courtesy of Kwangjo Lim.

Just three minutes later, MPU pocketed its third goal with Sunjoon Tenorio highlighting the play with a mid-field shot off a loose possession that placed the ball over Kanoa’s goalie.

In the second half, MPU remained on the offensive, eventually finding Abragan open for the strike and his second goal of the day.

Although Kanoa stopped the bleeding, it failed to equalize, losing to MPU, 0-4.

U18 Team A vs Paire FC

Joining the winner's circle was the U18 Team A which triumphed over the Paire Football Club, 3-1.

The young talents of U18 Team A outplayed their Paire counterparts, and took 11 minutes only to weave through the defensive walls and allow an unguarded Dev Bachani to score.

Bachani continued to pose a threat as he connected another goal at the 18th minute mark to put U18 Team A at a safe distance, 2-0.

The action in the second half slowed down a bit, but U18 Team A still managed to stay on the offensive, scoring its third goal at the 21st minute, thanks to Kaden Church.

U18 Team A was on its way to victory, but the players of Paire made sure they were not going down without a fight as they finally broke the silence at the 48th minute mark  with Jeff Seo scoring their lone goal.

U18 Team A won, 3-1.
