SUFC then retaliated with a goal courtesy of Kaithlyn Chavez, after which THFC accidentally scored into its opponent’s goal to give SUFC a 3-1 lead.
In the second half, THFC stepped up the tempo and applied more pressure to create more shot opportunities. Castro continued to shine as she completed the hat-trick with two goals in a row at the 43rd and 45th minute marks to tie the game, 3-3.
But just a minute after THFC's third goal, SUFC's Casarino broke the tie while team-mates Pia Ngewakl and Chavez added icing to the cake with two more goals at the 48th and 49th minute marks to leave THFC in the dust. SUFC won 7-3.
