(Press Release) — IT&E has announced that it will offer cost-saving options to its subscribers that might be affected by recent austerity measures implemented by the CNMI government.

“We understand that the recently implemented austerity measures may affect the general public and businesses. In consideration of these measures, we’ve decided to suspend late fees and rate increases; introduce redesigned affordable postpaid plans for residential subscribers; and offer our business subscribers options, all to help alleviate possible hardships,” said Jim Oehlerking, CEO of IT&E.

For residential subscribers

Pay any day during the month — no late fees! Subscribers can now pay anytime within the month without worrying about being charged a late fee. Suspension date will also move to the end of the month instead of the 22nd of the month.

IT&E introduces the redesigned $20 wireless postpaid with more data. IT&E has increased the 4G LTE data bucket plan on its original $20 wireless plan from 200MB to 1GB. Now, customers can enjoy more wireless high speed internet service on their mobile device at a low monthly cost.

Eligible households are encouraged to sign up for the Lifeline Program. With the Lifeline Program, households that meet income requirements, or that are on government assistance, can save up to $13.25 on their monthly plan. Visit store.ite.net/lifeline-program-cnmi/ or stop by any IT&E store location for assistance.

Subscribers are encouraged to call the IT&E Customer Care Center at 682-4483, or message IT&E on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for more information.

For business subscribers

Businesses that require further assistance with managing service payments are encouraged to contact their Business Account Manager to discuss options.

“As a member of this community, IT&E is committed to working with the private and public sectors to find solutions with the most positive outcome for everyone,” said Rose Soledad, general manager of IT&E.

For more information, businesses can contact the business sales department at 682-2877.
