Hey, Hey Hey. For five of these years Dr. John B. Joyner is the school principal.  In 1964 and 1965, while a doctoral student at the University of Southern California, Dr. Joyner completed a two-year internship at the Institute of Laryngology and Voice Disorders, UCLA, under the direction and guidance of internationally renowned high-speed cinematography pioneer research scientist Hans Von Leden, M.D., who used photography to measure the number of muscle fiber vibrations elicited upon stimulation, a process that over the years evolved into today's use of the technique to  photograph chrono-19 profiles. Smile, you're on candid camera.

Visit the “Handbook of Speech Pathology and Audiology,”  Lee Edward Travis, ed., to see Joyner's research about detecting laryngeal cancer.

We are proud of Dr. Joyner and are grateful that he has spent two years shy of 1/2 century in the CNMI....48 years! Thank you, Dr. Joyner.
