THERE are a lot of voters in the CNMI who are truly sick & tired of this Governor with his “Deflecting Gaslighting Shows.” It is just shaming and even damming to see this Governor getting in the news with his politics of deflecting and gaslighting. GOVERNOR Ralph DLG Torres said “he has neither instructed those who have been subpoenaed by the House Committee on Judiciary and Governmental Operations to testify or not to testify, nor has he instructed them on what to say or not to say.” So how did his Executive Assistant end up with the Governor’s Lawyer that WE the People are paying for get involved with his Executive Assistant testifying? Again, the Governor thinks WE the People are stupid because it is CLEAR that his Executive Assistant is working in concert WITH the Governor in dealing with the JGO. Our BAD acting Governor, who is “formally seen by the FBI in Court Documents as the Godfather of a Criminal Organization in a RICO Investigation” may not have said anything to his Executive Assistant but it’s clear she got HIS message by not testifying.
The Governor even had the nerve to say “the House probe is ridiculous” when it’s a FORMAL recognized process in our Constitution that is even a REQUIRE Oversight Check & Balance on his BAD behavior. Just to show readers what I mean about the Governor “deflecting & gaslighting his politics” he calls the JGO Hearing “a probe” trying to diminish the seriousness of this all important “INVESTIGATION into possible CRIMINAL Activity.” Calling the JGO Hearings a “probe” is clearly deflecting and gaslighting the TRUTH of it being a genuine and constitutionally supported process. He doesn’t seem to have ANY Respect for the CNMI’s Laws even though he is supposed to be our TOP Law Enforcement Officer in the CNMI. But he doesn’t care when he controls our DPS and our AG seems unwilling to lay a finger on him and more importantly HIS Republican Loyalists seem to be willing to follow him to the “gates-of-hell.”
Now he has his Protection detail on the spot testifying as they can’t refuse to testify about the Governor’s BAD activities in the course of them carrying out their ORDERS to protect & serve the Governor. I really feel for all the people associated with the Governor who are forced to face public scrutiny because of the Governor who seems to not really care about how they feel with his yelling from the sideline but refusing to come forward on his own an testify to put an end to this. The JGO is doing their job by connecting “all-the-dots” but the Governor wants the voters to think the JGO is just messing with him and extending the process without cause. However, in reality the JGO can’t depend on the Governor even coming forth to testify given he is figuratively fighting with his “teeth & nails” to keep people from testifying and exposing the WHOLE TRUTH about his BAD Behavior.
Some Republicans are even figuratively dropping the “Loyalty to their King” by leaving the GOP. First it was the Lt. Governor, then the GOP President and now Rep. Joel Camacho is leaving the GOP. BUT these GOP Loyalists leaving the GOP doesn’t change their stripes because they are still REPUBLICANS and their BAD Politics & Economics still won’t change. Leaving the GOP only means they are trying to avoid the pending DISASTER of the GOP in 2022 and changing their Political Alliance is their ONLY hope of retaining office and now they want voters to believe they are somehow different. But if they are figuratively scorpions under Governor Torres, they will more than likely still be scorpions under their new political banner. So voters don’t even bother trying to figure out who-is-who with these Republicans and just vote in all the Democrats to be safe and assured of having a better government come 2022 — prosperity is really that simple to find!
