THE Bicol Association of Mariana Islands Inc. or BAMI would like to say thank you to all those who supported us during our fundraising activities for the benefit of the typhoon victims in the Bicol region in the Philippines. Our mission to extend in-kind support to the severely affected families in Bicol would not have been possible without your untiring support.

On this page are the photos of the actual distribution of food items for the "Adopt a Family, Tabang Bicol" relief drive. It took place in Nato, a coastal town in Sangay, Partido, Camarines Sur province. As of this writing, the same town is experiencing hardship due to a massive flooding because of another typhoon.

The Nato town Parish Council Organization led by Jun Rivero and Ana Fuentebella is spearheading a group of volunteers who are distributing  the relief goods to about 400 families in the coastal areas. Kudos to BAMI Inc. treasurer Loida Fuentevilla and her family members in Sangay who unselfishly facilitated the distribution of "Adopt a Family, Tabang Bicol” relief goods. BAM Inc. delivered every penny you entrusted to us.

Again, thank you all for your support. This is the first among a series of relief drives. More to follow in the next couple of days because a generous construction company in Garapan whose owner is  a Bicolano has made a significant donation for the relief efforts that will help more people  in the typhoon-battered Bicol region.

Special thanks to BAMI Inc. president Noel Ordas, board chair Jimmy B, officers Boyet Escober, Marlon Regaton, vice president Jordan Danao, Walter Brillo, Jun and Sandra Miday, the Zumba Dance group headed by Bobby and wife,  Dorothy Jones, UFO headed by  Mar Masilungan, MAFEA, Birhen and Bong Martinez, Cong. McPeters Foundation, the Saipan Unity Lions Club, Emon Masonic Lodge 179, and to those who purchased Tabang Bicol t-shirts —thank you very much.

Mabalos saindo gabos and Mabuhay!
