Once a year, McDonald’s of Guam and Saipan closes all restaurant locations early to host their highly anticipated Annual Employee Appreciation Party. For 2023, two separate lavish celebrations were meticulously planned and beautifully decorated on the islands of Guam and Saipan, both embodying an elegant black and white theme. The Guam event took place on December 20th at the glamorous Hyatt Regency Guam Resort, with over 400 employees in attendance from the island’s locations. The Saipan party followed a week later, December 27th at the stunning Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan, hosting over 110 employees representing the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands restaurants.
With over 600 dedicated employees across the entire McDonald’s organization in the Marianas region, the recognition and service awards portion of the evening is always a special moment. It highlights the incredible efforts of the most outstanding team members through prestigious honors like Crew Person of the Year, Manager of the Year, and the Operations Excellence Award. Employees who have reached major milestones celebrating 5 to 30 years of loyal service to McDonald’s are also commended.

But the grand prize remains the most coveted of all – a roundtrip airfare package to an exotic beach destination like Hawaii, Australia, or the Philippines.
