THE spirit of “Aloha” filled the Fiesta Hall of the Grandvrio Hotel in Garapan as the Saipan Dynamic Lions Club and the Saipan Cubs Alpha Leo Club hosted a joint celebration on Aug. 30.
The Hawaiian-themed event commemorated key milestones — the 1st anniversary of the Saipan Dynamic Lions Club and the 3rd anniversary of the Saipan Cubs Alpha Leo Club. The program also included the induction of new members and the installation of officers and committee chairpersons.
The evening highlighted a year of community service and underscored the strong partnership between the youth-focused Leo Club and its parent organization.
New members welcomed
The Saipan Dynamic Lions Club welcomed Maria Lorena V. Caraig, Charmaine Guevarra, and Jessan Callusin Jr.
The Saipan Cubs Alpha Leo Club inducted Zoe Althea S. Ardieta, Jenzhen Jamille V. Caraig, Nathaniel V. Coloma, Dylan Legaspi, and Davin Mansilungan.
Historic leadership milestone
A highlight of the evening was the installation of new leaders. Leo-Lion Arnel Josh V. Coloma, MJF, was sworn in as president of the Saipan Dynamic Lions Club. At 19, he is the youngest president ever elected in the history of Lions Clubs in District 204 Region 2 — a milestone celebrated as a testament to his dedication and leadership potential.
Leading the youth club is Leo Jose Jeffrey A. Bonto, who was installed as president of the Saipan Cubs Alpha Leo Club.

Special guests from Guam added prestige to the celebration, including District Governor Lion Ronald Hidalgo and his wife Lion Lady Lota Hidalgo, Immediate Past District Governor Lion Roy Adonay, Past District Governor Lion Loisa Cabuhat, Lion Lourdes Shabazz, Lion Adora Tudela, Lion Roma Velasco, and Lion Lesly Dayson.
They were joined by regional leaders from District 204 Region 2: First District Governor Lion Eden Mercado, Second Vice District Governor Lion Marcelo Masilungan, and Zone Chairs Lion Carol Tamparong, Lion Yolanda Villavicencio, and Lion Danilo Robles. Their presence underscored the camaraderie and support within the Lions community.
Lion Racquel Floyd served as mistress of ceremonies. The event concluded with a group photo.
