United States Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall visited Saipan and Tinian Thursday morning. On Saipan, Secretary Kendall was greeted by Gov, Arnold Palacios and Lt. Gov. David Apatang at the airport. They were joined by Commonwealth Ports Authority Board Chair Joe Ayuyu and CPA Executive Director Leo B. Tudela to discuss, among other things, the Air Force activities in the CNMI, including the divert airfield on Tinian.
