THE Civil Service Commission on Thursday elected a new set of officers.
Joseph Patrick Fitial was voted chairman; Richard Farrell, vice chairman; Michele Joab, secretary; and Victoria Bellas, fiscal and budget officer.
The commission members are former chairman Raymond M. Muna, Elvira Mesngon, and Frances A. Torres.
After the election, Fitial designated the leadership of the standing committees:
– Personnel Matters Committee has Muna as chair; Farrel, vice chair; and Fitial, member.
– Regulatory and Governance Committee is chaired by Mesngon, with Joab as vice chair and Torres as member.
– Strategic Planning and Reporting Committee chair is Joab with Torres as vice chair, and Fitial, member.
– Fiscal Strategy Committee gets Bellas as chair, Muna as vice chair, and Mesngon as member.
